What this is not

It is not multi level marketing, because nobody above you takes a cut of your referrals and nobody below you exists. There is one level: you introduce an agent or a brokerage, and you are paid a percentage of what that customer pays.

There is no fee, so you pay nothing to apply, nothing to join, and nothing for the training, the script, the objection sheet, or the demo login. If anyone ever asks you for money in the name of this program, it is not us, and you should write to info@listingautomater.com.

There is no pay for recruiting, which means you are never paid for bringing in another rep, and there is no signup bonus for referring a rep, no override, and no downline. If you tell a friend about the program, that is a kindness rather than a transaction.

There is nothing to buy, no starter kit, no sample, no required subscription to the app, and no deposit, because a demo login is provided at no cost.

You are paid only from collected subscriptions: 30 percent of collected payments for a subscription's first 12 months, then 10 percent for as long as it stays active, plus a $50 bounty carved from the first collected invoice of each new subscription, paid on the next monthly statement after the money lands. If a customer does not pay, nobody is paid, and a month one clawback applies if a customer refunds or charges back.

The product is Listing AutomatEr, a desktop app for Mac and Windows that posts the listings an agent has permission to market to Facebook Marketplace on a schedule, with the brokerage's attribution and a disclosure line on every post. The app writes the attribution and the agent is responsible for having permission. The current price and trial length are on the pricing page.

The Federal Trade Commission's guidance on multi level marketing, quoting the Koscot decision, says a pyramid is characterized by participants paying money to the company in return for the right to sell a product and the right to be rewarded for recruiting other participants, with those rewards unrelated to sales to real customers. Ask the two questions that follow from it, whether anyone pays to join and whether anyone is paid for recruiting, and the answer to both here is no, because every dollar paid to a rep is a percentage of an invoice a customer paid for the app.

We hand reps a list of brokerages to call and we ask for no payment of any kind, and since the Rule turns on the required payment, there is none to turn on. If that ever changed, the Rule would require a written disclosure seven days before you sign or pay, and we would owe you one.

It is not a job with hours, a quota, or a manager, because you are an independent contractor who picks your own hours, your own phone, and your own method.

It is not a live demo you have to give, since the demo is recorded and the prospect watches it and starts the trial with your code.

It is not a claim about income, because the counts on the FAQ page are the only numbers we publish and they are updated on the 1st of each month.
