The questions
Sixteen answers. Nothing hidden.
How am I paid?+
You get 30 percent of every payment we collect from a subscription that started with your code, for that subscription's first 12 months. After month 12 it drops to 10 percent of every payment, for as long as that subscription stays active. On top of that you get a $50 bounty carved out of the first payment we collect from each new subscription. It is commission only, so there is no salary, no hourly, no draw, no sign on bonus, no pay per call or per demo, and no cap on it either. You are paid out of what we collect, after we collect it. Commission is figured on the amount we actually collected after any discount, so a trial that never converts or a card that fails pays nothing.
When am I paid?+
Monthly, on the next statement after the money lands. Money we collect in March shows up on your April statement and gets paid out with it, the $50 bounty included, and there is no extra hold on top of that. Payment is a bank transfer to the account you give us, or to your business if you run one. Before the first payment goes out we need your completed W9 on file, and that is the whole reason we ask for it up front.
What is the math on one account?+
Percentages only, because there is no record to quote. Your code gives the customer 10 percent off their first three months, and your share is figured on what we actually collect, so for those three months you get 30 percent of the discounted price, then 30 percent of the full price through month 12, then 10 percent of each payment after that, plus the $50 bounty on the first payment. Customers can also pay for a year up front: the annual plan is collected once, at the price on the pricing page, and your percentage of it lands on one statement, plus the $50 bounty. The price itself is on the
pricing page. These are contract terms and arithmetic on them, not a promise of earnings, and some brokerages have one agent try it and some have ten, and nobody can tell you in advance which one you get.
When does the first money actually arrive, and has anyone been paid yet?+
You should know the path before you apply. The customer's free trial comes first, then their first payment, then that payment goes on the next monthly statement, so under the current terms the first statement with money on it arrives about two to four weeks after the first payment. The program is in its launch phase. These are the terms today, and if they change the agreement page changes with them.
How many people are referring this right now?
As of September 5, 2026: applications 0, active reps 0, first payments 0, reps paid 0.
These are counts read from our records on the 1st of each month, and they are not earnings. They say nothing about what a rep typically makes, and programs like this usually have a wide spread between the top rep and everyone else, so assume you are not the top rep. Until the last number above is greater than zero, no rep has been paid by this program.
The pay terms are the same for everyone and they are on this page, and there is no other number.
What if the customer cancels?+
Your commission on that subscription stops when their payments stop. You keep everything already earned on payments we collected. If a subscription cancels or is refunded within 30 days of its first payment, no commission and no bounty is earned on it at all, and if a payment we already paid you on later gets refunded or disputed, that amount comes off your next statement, bounty included. That is the clawback, and it is written in the agreement so nobody is surprised.
Do I need a real estate license?+
No. You are introducing a software subscription to a brokerage, not representing anyone in a transaction. A license helps because you already know brokers by name and speak the language. It is not required.
Can I work for other companies at the same time?+
Yes. The agreement is not exclusive and it says so. You set your own hours, you pick your own days, and you can sell anything else you want alongside this. We do not set quotas and we do not ask you to clock in.
What about taxes and the W9?+
You are an independent contractor, so we do not withhold taxes and you handle your own. Every rep fills in an IRS Form W9 before the first payment. If what we pay you in a calendar year crosses the IRS reporting threshold, you get a year end tax form from us in January. Reps in Arizona also sign a one page declaration of independent business status, which is a state form that says the same thing the agreement does.
What is the app, in plain words?+
Listing AutomatEr is a desktop app for real estate agents, on Mac and Windows. It posts the listings an agent has permission to market to Facebook Marketplace on a schedule the agent sets. Every post carries the brokerage's attribution, written by the app: "Marketed by [the agent]", "Listing courtesy of [the brokerage that holds the listing]", and a disclosure line that says the agent is marketing on behalf of that brokerage. Buyers who see the post message the agent directly. Agents pay a monthly subscription and it has listings across most of the country.
Is this allowed? What do I say when a broker asks about compliance?+
The app only posts listings the agent is permitted to market: the office's own inventory under the broker's rules, and other brokerages' listings only with that listing broker's permission. Permission always comes from the brokerage, never from us and never from you. What the app does is write the attribution and the disclosure on every post, and you can send a broker a sample post so their compliance person can read the exact wording. Never tell anyone the app is compliant or promises compliance, and never tell anyone we can grant permission. Say what the app does, and let the broker decide against their own policy.
What do I say on the call?+
The script is in your kit and it is one sentence to open: we make a desktop app that posts the listings an agent has permission to market to Facebook Marketplace on a schedule, with the brokerage's attribution on every post. Then you ask for two minutes and you ask for one of two things, a twenty minute demo or the free trial with your code. The script is approved language you may use, not a speech you have to read word for word. Say it like you.
What am I never allowed to say?+
No income numbers, no lead counts, no results, to anyone, ever. No portal names and no listing service names. No "your listings" unless it really is the agent's own listing, it is always "listings you have permission to market". No discounts or prices other than the code we gave you. That list is section 6 of the
agreement and it is the one section that gets a rep dropped on the spot.
How do I get my code, and how does a customer use it?+
When your application is approved you get one email with a link to sign. You sign online, tick five short acknowledgments, and you get your link, your code, and your kit by email the day you are approved. The W9 is needed before your first payment, not before your link turns on. A customer goes to
https://listingautomater.com/trial and enters your code, which looks like
REP-NAME07, at checkout. That is how the subscription gets tied to you, so make sure it goes in at checkout and not later. If a broker signs up without it, email
info@listingautomater.com with the brokerage name right away.
What does the customer pay?+
It is a monthly subscription per agent, cancel anytime, no contract, no refunds, and it starts with a free trial. The current price and trial length are on the pricing page at
https://listingautomater.com/#pricing. Read it off that page before every call day and never quote a price from memory, because the checkout page is the only price that is real.
Is there a fee, a quota, or anything to buy?+
No fee to join, nothing to buy, and no quota. You bring your own phone, computer, and internet, and you pay your own expenses, which is normal for a contractor. We supply the written materials, the training materials, and a demo login. That is the whole setup, and there is nothing else to pay for.
Who do I contact when something comes up?+
Email
info@listingautomater.com for anything: your code, your statement, a broker who signed up without the code, a question the script does not answer. Put "rep" and your code in the subject line so it gets sorted fast.
Ready to apply? The form is on the rep page. Read the rep agreement draft first. It is one page.
